Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

From users: email address, business website URL, business location (city), and phone number (for SMS/WhatsApp alerts on paid plans).

From competitor websites: publicly available business data only — prices, service names, special offers, and ad campaign information. We do not collect personal data, customer lists, or private information from competitor websites.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: (a) generate competitor reports, (b) send alerts when competitors change prices, services, or ads, (c) process payments through Paddle, (d) improve our service, (e) communicate with you about your account.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal data from competitor websites (names, emails, phone numbers of their customers)
• Data behind logins or paywalls
• Raw HTML from competitor websites (we only store extracted facts)
• Browsing history or tracking data

4. Data Storage

User data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. Competitor data (extracted facts) is stored as structured snapshots. We do not store raw competitor website content.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except: (a) Paddle for payment processing, (b) Bird for SMS/WhatsApp/email delivery, (c) OpenAI for AI report generation, (d) Supabase for database hosting. All third parties have their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain competitor snapshots for as long as your account is active. When you cancel your subscription, we retain data for 30 days, then delete it. You can request immediate deletion by emailing hello@tomiru.com.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access your data, (b) request deletion of your data, (c) export your data, (d) opt out of marketing communications. Contact hello@tomiru.com to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use a single cookie (tomiru_ref) to track referral links for 30 days. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Tomiru is a business-to-business service and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
